Here is an interesting article outlining the results of the first phase of the e-discovery pilot program in the Northern District of Illinois. Launched in May 2009, “the goal of the program…was to find ways to reduce the massive costs and burdens of electronic discovery.” It seems, in it’s first phase, that the program has been a success.
